Who is behind MortarIQ
MortarIQ is built and operated by Intellibricks Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. It is a founder-run product: the person who writes the connectors also answers the support inbox. When you reply to any email from us or write to support@intellibricks.app, the founder reads it.
The product exists because of a gap we kept seeing: companies racing to build on AI without ever checking whether their data could support it, and the only alternative being six-figure consulting engagements. MortarIQ turns that check into a scan you can run in minutes, scored honestly, including what a metadata scan cannot know.
How we earn trust as a young company
We do not yet hold our own SOC 2 attestation, and we will not pretend otherwise. A young company asking for access to your warehouse owes you verifiability instead of promises, so the architecture is built to be checked:
Every query we run is public
The exact read-only SQL, per platform, generated from the connector source so it cannot drift: see the queries. Your DBA can verify against query history after the first scan.
You can start without connecting anything
The CLI runs the same scan inside your network with credentials that never leave it, and writes a local HTML report. Offline by default.
